Équation sur les quaternions

Une manière de gérer les quaternions est de les écrire $\;\alpha + \mathbf{v}\;$ où $\alpha\in\mathbb{R}$ et $\mathbf{v}\in\mathbb{R}^3$.
On a $\;(\alpha + \mathbf{v})+(\beta + \mathbf{w}) = (\alpha+\beta) + (\mathbf{v}+\mathbf{w})\;$.
$\;(\alpha + \mathbf{v})(\beta + \mathbf{w})\;$ se calcule par distributivité, avec
$(0+\mathbf{v})(0+\mathbf{w}) = (-\mathbf{v}\centerdot\mathbf{v}+\mathbf{v}\wedge\mathbf{w})\;$ (produit vectoriel).
Ceci qui précède admis, on peut trouver les quaternions $q$ à composantes $\in\mathbb{Z}$ tels que $$
q^2+(2+\mathbf{0})q+(186+\mathbf{0}) = (0+\mathbf{0})
$$
On a $\;(\alpha + \mathbf{v})+(\beta + \mathbf{w}) = (\alpha+\beta) + (\mathbf{v}+\mathbf{w})\;$.
$\;(\alpha + \mathbf{v})(\beta + \mathbf{w})\;$ se calcule par distributivité, avec
$(0+\mathbf{v})(0+\mathbf{w}) = (-\mathbf{v}\centerdot\mathbf{v}+\mathbf{v}\wedge\mathbf{w})\;$ (produit vectoriel).
Ceci qui précède admis, on peut trouver les quaternions $q$ à composantes $\in\mathbb{Z}$ tels que $$
q^2+(2+\mathbf{0})q+(186+\mathbf{0}) = (0+\mathbf{0})
$$

La bonne formule pour le produit des quaternions purs est
$$(0+\mathbf v)\,(0+\mathbf w)=-\mathbf v\cdot\mathbf w + \mathbf v\wedge \mathbf w\;.$$
PS. La formule corrigée dans le message de Soland ci-dessus est toujours fautive (une coquille, cette fois).
Mais cette présentation me semble peu adaptée aux calculs. Je lui préfère les matrices de Pauli, avec lesquelles le problème posé se ramène aux décompositions de 185 en somme de trois carrés entiers, sauf erreur.
